Education

Holds degrees in Law and Business Administration from the Universities of Munich and Würzburg, Germany, and Lausanne, Switzerland. Gerd passed the 1st and 2nd state law examinations and also holds a PhD in Law.

Professional Career

At the beginning of his career, Gerd Hofmann practiced law in Munich, focusing on commercial law. His long professional career has seen him occupy various management positions at multinational corporations in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Delta Amrop Hever, he spent 15 years on the board of one of the world's leading re-insurance companies, where he was responsible for the company's marketing/international markets business. Gerd was a Managing Partner at Delta Management Consultants GmbH ─ Amrop Delta from 1997 to 2008. As a consultant he specialized in financial services, professional services and commercial functions.

Gerd Hofmann took on an advisory role in 2009, enabling the company to continue to benefit from his longstanding experience.
