Professional Career
Gerhard Peter spent 15 years in management positions at well known mechanical engineering firms. He has been in executive search since 1990, working for leading international companies in the industry. In 1991 he founded the Dresden office of Amrop International – Mülder & Partner. From 1997 to 2001 he was a Senior Partner at Heidrick & Struggles. Gerhard Peter joined Amrop Delta as a Partner in 2002.
Consulting Practice
Gerhard advises large corporations and smaller entrepreneurial companies. His focus comprises the areas of mechanical and plant engineering, the public and energy sectors, as well as the automotive and construction industries. He also has considerable executive search experience in filling COO, CFO and HR positions.

He is married and has two grown-up daughters and two grandchildren. He devotes his free time to his family. He enjoys traveling and he likes playing golf.
