Professional Career

Henning Rasche embarked on his career in 1972, first joining Deutsche Bank in Hanover before moving to Deutsche Hypothekenbank Frankfurt in 1987. In 1989 he was appointed Director of the Issues and Stock Exchange Division at Frankfurter Hypothekenbank AG, a predecessor of what is now Eurohypo AG.

In 2001 he was given a seat on the board of Deutsche Hypothekenbank Frankfurt, which was also merged into Eurohypo AG in 2002. Until the end of 2008, Henning Rasche was the board member for Public Finance, Treasury, Interest Rate and Currency Management as well as IT. He also served as President of the Association of German Pfandbrief Banks (vdp) from 2005 until the middle of 2010.
